Day 01 – Arrival in Kathmandu Upon arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, a Ngimalaya Adventure representative will warmly welcome us and transfer to our hotel. After check-in, we can freshen up and rest. In the evening, a welcome dinner hosted by Ngimalaya Adventure awaits. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02 – Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation Explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Durbar Square, Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath stupa, and Bouddhanath stupa. In the afternoon, meet fellow participants at Ngimalaya Adventure’s office for a trip discussion. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 03 – Fly to Lukla, Trek to Phakding Early morning flight to Lukla, the starting point for Everest treks. Trek from Lukla, passing Cheplung village, Dudh Koshi River, and arriving at Phakding. Overnight in Phakding.

Everest Base Camp trek is a moderate/demanding trek that does not require any technical expertise of mountaineering. It is basically a long hike up to the altitude of 5,364 meters / 17,599 feet. The trek is only grueling because of its duration of 12 days hike up and down the hill across diverse terrains (14 days including arrival and departure).
The best time to trek Everest Base Camp is the months of spring (March-May) and fall (October- November) when the weather is favorable and perfect for high altitude climbing. These seasons offer a crystal-clear mountain view with a clear sky. It is also possible to do this trek in February and early September but the trek is best preferred during the above months.
No, there is no age limit for Everest Base Camp trekking but, you need to be in good physical shape and have a positive attitude.
